A Year in the Life

"Ordinary Time" should not be thought of as dull or common or garden time. The reason why the first Christian followers of Jesus, who were all Jews, chose Sunday rather than the Jewish Sabbath to break bread together was because Sunday was the day that Jesus rose from the dead, and so every Sunday is a commemoration of the Resurrection. Let us come together to rejoice in the presence of our Risen Lord every Sunday in "Ordinary Time".
