The Annunciation Choir
The parish has a thriving musical life. Under the direction of Marcia Bellamy MM (Hons), the Annunciation Choir provides musical support to the liturgical life of the church. The emphasis is on developing a capella and part singing, and the repertoire is a blend of traditional and modern music. The choir can be booked for weddings, charitable and ecumenical events and a CD of the choir 'Evensong' is available. Please contact Marcia on 01273 888575 if you would like a copy.
The choir also gives a number of public performances. Our thriving musical culture draws new people into the church, as well as representing it in the wider community. Annually, we guest at Chichester Cathedral to sing Evensong; and in the past two years we have presented the ancient candelit ceremony of Phos Hilaron - Hail Gladdening Light', as part of the Brighton Festival of World Sacred Music.
